The Industrial Innovation & Market Entry Program (IIMEP) 2026 is operated by desertx Venture Studio LLC ("desertx", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated and licensed in the United Arab Emirates. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you submit an inquiry through iimep.ae.

This policy is issued in compliance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and its executive regulations, which constitute the primary applicable data protection framework governing our operations.

desertx Venture Studio LLC is the operating entity through which all IIMEP programme inquiries, client engagements, and contractual relationships are conducted. desertx Venture Studio LLC is part of the desertx group, whose holding entity, desertx Holding Ltd, is registered at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

We collect only what is necessary to assess your enquiry and respond to you:

• Identity and contact data: first name, last name, professional email address, and company name.
• Organisational context: country of origin and industrial sector, to assess programme eligibility.
• Communication data: the content of your message or enquiry submitted through the contact form.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and access timestamps — collected automatically through standard server logs.

We do not collect sensitive personal data — including health, financial, biometric, or government identity information — through this platform.

• To respond to your enquiry — to assess your company's potential eligibility for IIMEP 2026 and communicate accordingly.
• To evaluate strategic alignment — we may retain your data to assess fit with the programme's industrial focus and timing.
• To operate and improve this platform — technical data is used to ensure functionality, security, and performance of iimep.ae.
• To comply with legal obligations — where required by UAE federal law, free zone regulations, or a competent authority.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or unsolicited direct marketing.

Under the UAE PDPL, we process your personal data on the following grounds:

• Consent — you have voluntarily submitted your information and explicitly consented at the point of submission.
• Legitimate interest — to operate this platform, assess programme enquiries, and maintain site security.
• Legal obligation — where processing is required by applicable UAE law or regulatory authority.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Professional advisors — lawyers and accountants, subject to professional confidentiality.

All sharing is limited to the minimum necessary and conducted with appropriate safeguards.

• Enquiry and contact data: for the duration of the IIMEP 2026 programme cycle, and up to 2 years thereafter, unless a formal engagement is initiated or you request deletion earlier.
• Technical and server log data: up to 12 months.

After the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Under the UAE Federal PDPL, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your personal data where there is no legal basis for continued retention.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
• Object to or request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
• Lodge a complaint with the competent UAE supervisory authority.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This platform uses only essential functional cookies necessary for basic site operation. We do not use advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies. You may configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies, though this may affect certain functionality.

This platform and the IIMEP programme are directed exclusively at business entities and their authorised representatives. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we hold data relating to a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
